At Church Missionary College, Islington, and B.A. of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. 1883, September 23, ordained a deacon and 1885, March 1, ordained a priest by Bishop of Sierra Leone, for Native Pastorate. For several years Mathematical Tutor at Fourah Bay College, and afterwards Colonial Chaplain at Bathurst, on the Gambia. Native Pastor of Sherbro. 1888, August 15, died. Son of George Nicol. Grandson of Bishop Crowther.
