You are cordially invited to a lecture sponsored by the Massachusetts Bible Society on January 22, 2009 at 5:30PM at Boston University's Marsh Chapel.  A reception and viewing of an exhibition of books in the Bible Society collection will follow at the Boston University School of Theology Library.  The exhibition will be on display during most of the 2009 Spring Semester. 

The lecture entitled, "The Word Become Flesh and Dwelt Among Us" will celebrate the Massachusetts Bible Society's Bicentennial.  The collection, housed at the School of Theology Library since 1979, is filled with translations of the bible in over 3400 languages.  It will be delivered by Amy Phillips, former cataloguer and curator of the collection.
